PDF file . . . Updated 1/29/03
The Pearson Model Data Table is available in PDF format. It prints more easily then the HTML version and is a lot easier to maintain. There is an 11x17 version and a 2 page leagal size version. To print at 8.5x11 use the 11x17 and select Shrink to Fit from the Print dialog box of the Adobe Acrobat Reader. You better have good eyes for this.

Ratio Formulas:
Hull Speed = SQRT(LWL)*1.34
SA/D = Sail Area Displacement Ratio = SA / (Disp/64)2/3
D/L = Displacement Length = (Disp/2240)/0.01*LWL)3
BR = Ballast Ratio = Ballast/Disp
L/B = Length/Beam Ratio = LOA/Beam
LWL/B = Waterline Length/Beam Ratio = LWL/Beam
LWL/BWL = Waterline Length/Waterline Beam Ratio = LWL/BWL
OR = Overhang Ratio = (LOA-LWL)/LOA
CSF = Capsize Screening Formula = Beam/((Disp/64.2)1/3
MCR = Motion Comfort Ratio = DISP / (.65*BEAM4/3(.7*LWL+.3*LOA))
M/F = Main/Foretriangle Ratio
