In the fall of 1994 We had the bottom sandblasted down to the gelcoat to remove the 18 years of bottom paint. The sandblasting worked great and opened up all of the small blisters in the bottom. There were a couple dozen osmotic blisters (all smaller then a dime) and a lot of small pock mark like holes in the gel coat that I am told are the result of dust and dirt in the mold at layup. We let the hull dry out over the winter. In the spring we opened all the blisters and filled them with West System epoxy with a filler additive.(See Maintenance Log for 11/16/94, 4/18/95, 4/21/95 and 5/3-5/24/95)
